Monday - Friday
9:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday morning
9:00am to 12:00pm

When you arrive call 734-484-2989 (also posted on the door) or ring the doorbell and a staff member or volunteer will meet you outside to take the donation.

The greatest needs right now for donations are as follows:

  • Non-food Groceries
Non-food groceries like personal hygiene items, toilet paper, deodorant, shaving cream, etc. are important items in our pantry and a high need right now, as well as cleaning supplies like dish soap, disinfectant and laundry detergent.

  • Baby Care Items
Size 6 diapers and pull ups, generic formula (Costco, Meijer and Sam's Club brands), baby thermometers.

  • Health Food
We promote using fresh produce as much as possible with our clientele. Items like low-sodium broth, spices and salad dressings help a lot of clients to use the produce they take home, as well as ingredients like whole grain pasta, quinoa, lentils, etc.

WE DO NOT take textile donations (ie clothing, bedding, etc) and recommend that donations go to the Ypsilanti Thrift Shop who offer vouchers to our clients. Please be sure to read their donation guidelines. During the Winter we accept donations of NEW hats and gloves, but those must be cleared with a staff member BEFORE drop off, based on our limited storage capacity.
